  1. mine works in all my other pc's, and i don't have a sli-dr, but a ultra-d.
  2. found the problem, it's the S3 Trio tried an hercules 4000xt today, works as a charm...
  3. I have a similar problem yesterday I received my nF4 Ultra-D, but i'm still waiting for pci-e card, so tried with a s3 pci card on first it looked the same problem, but then i tried an other monitor and there i could see the VGA BIOS (my LCD wasn't 'fast' enough to display that), after that, monitor dedects still the signal, but screen remains black tried other PCI-slot, other ram, other slot, nothing helps I do hear the beep, that's the only difference. I notice you also have an TT Thougpower, maybe that could be the problem, I'll try another PSU this evening.
  4. You can use them, as long as you don't overclock the HTT too much. I don't know any exact number, but I'd say 230HTT max, maybe even less. Too high HTT will result in higher frequency for SATA1&2, which may result in corrupt data on the drives.
  5. Your ram isn't running at 280Mhz, but at 224MHz (= 4x 280 / 5), because lowest divider for ram is CPU/5. BTW: I think you are confusing your 2GB kit with the 1GB kit Platinum Rev2, which has TCCD chips. Most of them could do 280-300Mhz.
  6. 711 works with opterons and gives me almost same oc results, but C19 seems a bit bitter.
  7. I don't think so, 8/24 sucks for my cpu, 7/11 is so much better and new C19 beta a bit better dan 7/11. I had 8/24 a couple of hours, but cpu didn't oc that good as with 7/11. I tested C19 today, it gives me 294x10 @ 1.52v, which is great for 24/7 oc I think. With 7/11 I needed 1.55v for same setting. I experienced temperatures readout of CPU 5°C lower then with 7/11, I don't know which to trust.
  8. @roythea & blinker0: thx, will try it this evening
  9. Booster is compatible. I tried it myself, only problem was this mobo + utt. On this mobo I need 3.5V voor 2-2-2-5 240Mhz (any higher not stable, tried voltage up to 3.8V), on dfi crossfire they do 260 2-2-2-5 with 3.6V, maybe more. RAM is 1GB Gskill GH
  10. I can go up tot 33x MHz (forgot the exact number, I guess 335-336). But I have quite some problems with this board and Gskill GH (UTT). On a DFI RDX200 they can do 260MHz 2-2-2-5 (24/7 stable) with 3.5V. On my board with OCZ booster, they don't even do 240 with 3.7V (they do, but not stable). I tried both yellow and orange slots, orange are worst. So I thought, maybe it is the bios? Can anyone suggest a bios for this board with UTT? I'm currently on 07/11, which is fine for TCCD as far as I tested.
