  1. I've just recently been having problems getting my htt over 300 for some reason =/ i've set the divider down to 133 due to ram so it's running roughly around 200mhz (which is fine as memory can go up to 230ish) the actual errors that i'm getting are good old memory beeps so i've tried upping chipset/memory voltages yet still nothing. i've had a little bit of a fiddle with a few of the memory settings but no luck. it is definalty not stabilty related as 299 is rock solid...just anything over 300 beeps at me =/ any ideas ?
  2. i find the 217 bug is luck of the draw....just keep flashing untill it goes away ? thats what i did ...pity 824 hated me more then 711
  3. hey, i'm wanting to run dual monitors so i dug out my old tnt2 m64 PCI and whacked it in but no go =/ first it wouldn't run at all.. so i had to take it out and set the int display to agp, chucked it back in....booted up, detected the card, but the windows device manager said it was unable to start. :| is there anything i need to turn on in the bios ? : the card works btw i've tested in another computer
  4. How do you check what revision you board is ? :| i'm having all sorts of problems as well
  5. Do you have any Sata hdd's plugged into the locked sata ports ? (the ones under the CPU) i had the exact same problem with 711/705 bios, unable to change anything without it having a cry, after much f*#king around i was able to start and change things (mostly at random ) but the one thing that WOULD not work at all for me was any of the memory settings :| so i went ... great my memory is screwed... memtest'd for 5-6 hours...nothing... :| wtf....confused, i decided it must be my power supply...while switching out for my old one i unplugged both my sata hdd's...decided why the hell not and booted up ....WTF everything worked fine :| checking that it wasn't just that my PSU was having troubles with the extra hdd's i plugged both of them into the unlocked Sata Ports....Still everything worked... WTF hope this helps helped for me ... still unsure about what to do though 1. use the 605 bios 2. use sata hdd's in unlocked ports(and don't OC) 3. use sata hdd's in locked ports (and don't OC) 4. Don't Use sata hdd's 5. get the board RMA'd :|
  6. Hmm didn't fancy shipping it from America found a australian shop that sells them i'll let you know how i go when it arrives
  7. i'm definatly going to get owned for bumping this but more problems again, it seems it might just be the 711 bios that is owning my bios for some reason :| i flashed the same way to 711 and first boot allowed me to change settings but after then nothing will change. sooo, i can use stock bios..but thats a pain. How would i go about RMA'ing it or ordering in a bios chip ?
  8. Mwuahahahahah Force Flash saved the day, good friend reccomended a complete flashing of the bios back to default reboot load op defaults flash load op defaults clear cmos load op defaults anyway i'm happy
  9. 51 views ... guess no1 knows whats going on
  10. heya, i recently purchased a DFI nF3 Ultra-D and i'm having troubles the board has been running fine for the past 1-2 months but recently funny things have been happening with the BIOS, Upon changing anything within the BIOS i'm greeted with a blank screen with the sound of my drives ticking over....loverly...clearing cmos leaves me with a cmos checksum error the first time i boot up. i've tried the following, http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...89&postcount=32 and It didn't fix the issue(heck i left it for 6 hours....i fell asleep ) I've tried reflashing the BIOS...still not working, I've tried a different Battery...nothing...so yeah i'm running out of ideas :| The actual computer runs painlessly once i get into windows...It's just BIOS that is screwing me around....Anyway hope someone has some ideas.
