Just wondering if there would be any workshops in or near Ottawa Ontario Canada?? Ya know just a groups of peeps that like to hang out and tweak the $#$# out of their hard ware.. I myself can read all the tutes in the world but won't be able to understand wth is going on unless i see it visually... I think i've kooked this as5 on my components long enough and yes i do wan't to venture into higher clocks.. Not worried about cpu cause next year she is getting upped to an fx series.. unless i had screen shots of bios listed showing me how i can determin max mhz in increments 1 reboot and test at a time then work from there. I really don't want to mess with upping the voltage on ram so i suspect from what i have read 218hz should be max but optimistically i'll be happy with 216 he he i do have adjustable rails but not sure how reliable it is by depending with in bios or software. so any how does any o/c workshops even exist?? or does some one have same config as me and willing to share some screenies??

DFI (Can you hear me?) Just release the boards so that manufactuere's can desing better cooling solutions for us!! Just go plain but instead of alluminum synch's go with copper and as5 plz!!! We will do the rest!! It's beast that we stay stock for a period of time and iron out possible bugs.. then go for better cooling solutions 1 step at a time. once you have those boards released you can update them like you did to the expert model. Stay ahead of the game and being 1st to release the hardware is a plus to be ahead of other manufacturers. more sales come from initial launches. (last statement may not be true)

Sutch a warm greeting from you all!! really wicked bunch you all seem to be ha ha when i created my account here some time last year i had sutch a gimpy system, with a good base!! Now system is rocking, still have to iron out a few kinks, and might get into pushing a little bit of performance levels he he "On Air" newb to pushing but baybe steps and alot of reaserch.. i don't wan't to hear any *pop* sounds or smell smoke he he..

well i myself rarly base myself on wattage now a days, amps is were you want to look into. always for 1 single card 26+ amps for 12 volt rail and 38+ for sli setup. 450 whatt for 1 card should be good enough, i'm running a 550. 600+watts good for sli but i'm sure the model of psu i have should be more then suffiecient. look it up in my sig!! have a good day and good searching, good stuff listed in this forum if you know what you are looking for!

Alright low and behold!! Finally have some aight pictures to show you all!! __http://workatsympatico.dyndns.org/system high res and some are blurry but some are perfect.. not dial-up freindly... but u can download the 60 meg rar file to get all pictures at once.. there is a few new ones since then too!! it's hotter then heck in my place hitting close to 30 degree's celcius.. ntune monitor shows cpu 32 celcius, chipset 45 and gpu showing at 41 and the fans are not even at full spin!! wicked cooling!!!

i've replaced the psu so far... soon to see with new build and chipset fan to see how she'll workout he he..

i've only seen 1 person so far with 4 gig's of ram?? i don't have system bootable yet.. going to try a few beta bio's sutch as da big toe one... but windering now if my venus cpu may be at fault? any one can give a few ideas? or links to other posts? i've looked up and down so far with no luck.. i've e-mailed ramguy over at corsair too no responce from him atm so far after 48 houres. if it works with 4 sticks of 512 just don't get why she won't boot with 4 sticks of 1024? it's a recomended venice core that alledgedly accepts 1024. any one can post they voltage, dram stepping and dram voltage and possibly bios revision? thanks boyz!!

Has any one tried this revision with 4x1024 c2's?

Looks like guys over at shop are having a hard time trying to setup 4 gig's of ram.. They are able to install 4x512's and system boot's with out a hitch. If they install only 2x1024 system boots. I suspect the fallowing.. Either they haven't tried to boost core from 1.4 to 1.5 and setup up v on ram from 2.6 to 2.8 i've also told the tech to come here and look at the seetings for C2 posted in detail.. i think i'm just gona bring it home and do it myself..

As you can see some of my stuff is out dated.. Currently have system in shop for a compleete overhaul. LF advice on cpu desition... new parts to be added to system in shop. BTW ty soo very mutch for help with chipset replacement!! U know who you are *Grins* so far added a new case cooler master stacker 810 series (this was a base for all my purchases) motherboard woudn't fit due to sound card modual.. had them yank it out and put in a creatives labs xfi fatality series. had them add 4 gig's of corsair XMS C2 (all manufactured from same day) had them add a 74 gig WD raptor for primary. had them add 4 WD 320gig 16meg cache Sata II 300mb/s drives and installed in raid 5 had them install the zalman cooler with LED heat pipe technology (dang this thing is huge)!! asus 7900GTX 512mb only 1 for now don't think i would need a second one yet.. will have pics eventually may not get system back till next week. not sure if i should have added pix or links.. so i left plane jane cause most techies out there know what i'm talking about he he.. next year i'm thinking of adding dual core fx60, i'm just worried on how they perform? would system be happy with a fx 60? thanks for the heads up!!
