  1. Alright so I'm having some problems booting. It doesn't want to show anything from the video cards. The system seems to start up fine but nothings coming out of the video cards. There is power, the fans are spinning (on the video cards) and nothing. I have tried in SLI and in single VGA but I didn't switch the jumpers back to X16 instead of SLI. This is driving me crazy. It happened once before and I managed to get it to boot again. I cleared the cmos and through a process of rebooting over and over and switching video cards it booted them up again. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? -Ryan
  2. I have printed it and lately, well the past two nights, its been my before-i-fall-asleep-reading-material lol -Ryan
  3. See I did read that and followed it, messed up somehow and have since read it 3 more times lol -Ryan
  4. See I was trying to follow the guide that was posted. It is a good guide really but I must have misread some of it. Can someone link me to some articles and/or guides that have more insight into what the HTT, multiplyer, etc. are? Thanks for the help! -Ryan
  5. Alright I can't overclock when following the 'Overclocking guide' that is posted on this forum. I am trying to find the max of my CPU/RAM. I set the multi to 12x, the LDT multi to 3.0 or 2.5 (I have tried both), the LDT/FSB Ratio to 1/02 and the CPU voltage to 1.525V. Then I go and raise the FSB 15 to 215, cant boot. Ok I set it to 200 (stock) can't boot. What the?! Someone please explain this to me. -Ryan
  6. I think I am going to be getting the BIOS Savor, thanks for the tip and all the help. Where can I get a backup though? I wouldn't mind having one. Also, does anyone know what BIOS the DFI UT SLI-DR Motherboards ship with? Thanks! -Ryan
  7. Hmm, well if I updated my BIOS and in the old BIOS my RAM was supported, in the new BIOS will it still be supported or is there a chance it won't be supported any longer? I am nervious with it, I was having RAM problems before but the 6/23/05 BIOS fixed it, I'm afraid the 4/6/06 BIOS might make it not work again. -Ryan
  8. Alright so when you (or I) update the BIOS, does it have all of the information from the old BIOS plus some new information? I am wondering if I should switch to the new 4/6/06 BIOS or stick with my 6/23/05 BIOS? I have a new motherboard on the way (same board actually, just new) because my flash failed using WinFlash (I dont suggest using WinFlash) when I was updating from 6/23/05 BIOS to 4/6/06 BIOS. So questions are: Does the new flash add onto the previous flash? And I was working fine with my old BIOS, should I just stick with those? Thanks -Ryan
  9. I dont want to run in single but it wont boot Windows in dual. The motherboard hates Patroit memory. -Ryan
  10. Oh so the yellow are grouped as 1&2 and the orange as 3&4? If that is the case then Ed you are correct and thank you for explaining it. -Ryan
  11. Tell the engineers at DFI to start actually listening to us since they have this forum for it and do something!! -Ryan
  12. Just wondering if this 'OCZ Titanium 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory' will work. system specs in sig. I'm really sick if this board being so picky about the RAM so I just want to get it over with. Thanks. -Ryan
  13. I know where they go for dual and single channel, what i'm asking is why is it showing up as in slots 1 and 3 when it should be showing up as slots 1 and 2 BECUASE its in single channle right now. Anyone understand this? -Ryan
  14. The question is why is it showing as slot 1 and 3 when the RAM is in the first two slots (the top yellow and orange furthest away from CPU)? -Ryan
