  1. there is very very little real world performance hit. Maybe 2%. Do a search and you will see. dont go by sisoft as they do not show real world performance
  2. dont worry about 1t. Its hardly any difference in real world apps. I have posted so many times before. I can not do 1t over 227mhz so i just stick with 2t. post your timings so we can see what they are
  3. DRAM Frequency Set - 200=RAM/FSB:01/01 Command Per Clock (CPC) - Enable (Try Disable - better compatabilty) CAS Latency Control (Tcl) - 2.0 RAS# to CAS# delay (Trcd) - 02 Bus Clocks Min RAS# active time (Tras) - 06 Bus Clocks Row precharge time (Trp) - 02 Bus Clocks Row Cycle time (Trc) - 08 Bus Clocks Row refresh cyc time (Trfc) - 12 Bus Clocks Row to Row delay (Trrd) - 02 Bus Clocks Write recovery time (Twr) - 02 Bus Clocks Write to Read delay (Twtr) - 01 Bus Clocks Read to Write delay (Trwt) - 02 Bus Clocks Refresh Period (Tref) - 3120 (Try Auto) Write CAS Latency (Twcl) - Auto DRAM Bank Interleave - Enabled DQS Skew Control - Auto DQS Skew Value - 0 DRAM Drive Strength - 7 (Important for me - change this value to ur own maybe get stable or try mine) DRAM Data Drive Strength - Level 1 Max Async Latency - auto DRAM Response Time - normal Read Preamble Time - auto IdleCycle Limit - 256 Cycles Dynamic Counter - Disable R/W Queue Bypass - 16 x Bypass Max - 07 x 32 Byte Granularity - Disable(8 Bursts) ok here are my settings. they are at 3.1v with fsb at 240. remember leave ur ram at 200 and cpu at default and put ram to around 2.9v. try these. For me the data drive and drive strength determine wether mine is stable or not. so try different combinations. on the 3-10 bios i think i had it at 8 for drive and 1 for data drive
  4. im happy with 5-10 -2. See no reason to change mine
  5. i have some twinmos 1a4t 3200 ram and i can get them to be stable at 1t up 228mhz i think. with 2 t i can run them at up to 240mhz 5-2-2-2 timings with 3.2v. Never tried higher as im worried about the 4v jumper. If you want i will post my config after i get back from work which is around 7 hours from the time of this post
  6. i had the same problem too, as soon as i installed my audigy 2 zs my chipset tempes rose to about 48 idle from 43 idle. Anyway i put a fan over the pwmic area and not its about 40 idle. I guess it was airflow prob
  7. have u tried upping the voltage to 2.7 or 2.8 for dram
  8. You dont get any real world performance hit. Dont worry about the 2t
  9. ove r at anadtech forums, people did some real world testing. On the amd 64 it proved that people would get around 2-4% increase i.e 2-4 fps more and thats it. 1t vs 2t is a load of crap if you ask me on the 64bit. i will try and find link ok found it. http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.as...6&enterthread=y
  10. i think some or all venices have a problem with x64 wih 1t enabled. I have the same problem. Its nothing to do with memory its the cpu
  11. i got a nec 3540 and im very happy with it. Go with a nec !
