  1. Well they look good and 3.2 on air is good ... after all its 77% OC ... I hope mine does similar ... 3.5 would be nicer or even 3.6
  2. Nice results Chump on the E4300 ... I picked one up a few weeks back but have yet to get it in a rig, looking forward to see how these go looks like the x9 helps out.
  3. I have had my Asus G1 C2D for sometime now and this unit's battery lasts over 3hrs if just surfing .. much better that my old Asus A2D AMD which struggled to get more than 100mins. There are many laptop options out their so it will come down to Purpose/Use, budget and timing (when buying) ... Also have a look at the Acer range as some of their newer releases are to have battery life up around the 4hr mark
  4. There is a newer BIOS release for the 975X/G 97TID227 which may also be worth a look.
  5. Yes of course it is a personal opinion and view, that is what open forums are about. The OCDB has been clearly stated that it is about Stability and for such 'Valid' results to be posted for others to review and hopefully help them with similar systems and as such scores are therefore relative and helpful. The suggestions are part of the overall discussion and looking at helping the OP deal with their submission and even the forum to help maintain that standard which has been already set. An alternative is to run the older versions of '05/'06 as these will still deliver a score relative for the particular OC but of course will not be able to be submitted to FM. This is not just an Intel OCíng issue but one for all OCDB entires.
  6. This is really a discussion that needs to be in the OCDB forum, however showing the message without a score will only be valid if the ScreenShot also contains the CPUz tabs showing the OC & Mem Settings, much in the same way as the 3DM01 & Prime image must be shown. The emphasis on the OCDB is about stability rather than copy & pasting skills and without a score or FM Compare link there seems no point in filling up DIY's forums with screens of non-validated information.
  7. SoundX .... Good to see ur still keeping it alive
  8. Imported Image Speakers ... Rimu Finish 414 Sub
  9. The score value has some relativity to the actual OCDB submission and is also part of validating that the system did really run these apps.. otherwise there is no point in showing a screen shot with Submit score Online ...something that CTRL-C & CTRL-V makes easy work for any OCDB entry. The New releases of 3DM05/06 now require an online submission for a result to be shown or the user must have a Pro version which allows off-line score results to be shown. The FM site has had some submission issues recently where results have failed to be uploaded... this will casue non-Pro members problems as they will have to either wait until the FM site comes back online or rerun the apps for new result, Pro members can save their results and submit them later.

  11. A run @ 1200 C4-4-4-12, these MBs keep on going up. Will look at C3 when I get a chance.
  12. V.nice OC and mem clocks... Is the CPU still under water or on your Phase unit? The 3DM01 results for that GPU are around those figures, you may find that a rerun after a restart will get you up around the 65-67K. Could you run a Sandra Soft (lite 07 sp1) Mem Bandwidth to see the BW should be around the 8500 or more? What are your NB temps as I have a Zalman NBF47 on the NB and it sits around 41-43C under load and high vNB. I tried the Themalright HR-05-SLI and it drops the temps OK but the hook retention spring just didn't seem to be a good fit.
  13. V.Nice results - As raju has stated, these MBs can do more but you will need to tweak the vNB to really get higher FSB. I have a current limit of 460 and this has only been achievable with the vNB Mod applied but also look at your vDDR as this also plays a part once you get up and close to their specs. I have just finished applying the vDDR Mod and now able to get > 2.65v as the MB would only deliver 2.6v measured. Keep on going up.
