  1. Alright i thought i got my machine fixed and it was working for about a week or so when i go to play my games and things get mesed up today. First when in Call Of Duty the game glitches and i have to manualy exit it. then later when playing Guild Wars Final Beta event my machine restarts on me after 30 min into the game. I Know my parts are supposed to be working and i got all the updated drivers. Angry even OK'd my last part choice. I am just angry right now. The only difference that i know of right now is that it is a bt hotter out but not by mutch. Please help. Also i haven't gotten to OCing anything yet. *edit* Also for some reason my xfire is not working as well don't know the signifigance of that but yah.
  2. go for newegg.com they are pritty good on prices and carying things in stock but just look around. and if in dought about a part contact Angry he usualy knows whats compatable with the board.
  3. The only two things i noticed that could be wrong. The main one which i believ is it is your Ram. People have had some prioblems with Corsair brand AND most Value ram. The thing to do is get someone who knows that exact model of ram (maybee Angry or Corsair help line) and adjust the settings sometimes they work after a little tweeking. A basic thing to do is put in just one stick of the ram and increase the vdimm to 2.7-2.8 and see how it works. If you have the stock bios and not the 3/10 bios then make sure to go over the vdimm increase the voltage then immidiatly press f10 to save the settings it was a problem with the old system. it might solve the sound settings as well but not sure. Also are you using a 20 to 24 pin adapter on the PSU? lastly make sure to list what date BIOS you use.
  4. hahaha. you guys are crazy. the only diet you have to do is eat your carbs for breakfast, then a small amount for lunch with somethign healthy to fill u up then eat your meats for dinner. With exersize you can't go wrong. i mean just a few hundred laps around the track a day adn your good ya?
  5. yah windows doesn't like loading on some oc settings. usualy people just say revert to default them load windows then reoverclock. But other than that whats the speed/quality you get on the new windows?
  6. Yes deffinitly get a new PSU. first it is recomended that you have at least a 450 and thats bare minimum. i would sugest a 500w or more. second i would make sure it was a 24 motherboard pin and not use an adapter. Trust us all wehn we tell you this. A good part of us including me had a similar problem with the psu. Just so you know it i not usualy the Gcard. People have been having problems with the Corsair memory. Contact Corsair to see if they can help you configure it if possible so it works. Otherwise your going to have to RMA those sticks. And i too went through that to my painfull experience. Look around for a reliable set of ram in the forums. Here is a link to a good thread that was a bit ago that has some good info: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8999
  7. Hey just to learn a bit more. Can anyone give a few links that review different manufacturers of G cards. As a shopper and just to learn i am interested. I have seen a few BFG's and i know XFX is cheap but never seen any real reviews of each company. I want to look into the 6800 GT's if it has to be specific. Also put your personal reviews to make the thread interesting.
  8. That or just get a really big catapult and launch yourself and the comp. though i highly suggest better landing gear than a whole bunch of matresses. oh and adjust for wind it sucks when you land just to the side of the matresses....
  9. now only if someone in the hardware development part of DFI saw this and actually pulled all these things off (well except the whole hacking vegas thing ) i would deffinitly buy it. Also it would be nice if they designed it to work well with the new Windows 64 bit. Might get up a little in price but it would be worth it!!!!!!
  10. dude if you want to spam do it in the off-topic thread at least
  11. well the thing is if you are going to do sli and buy two 6800's you might want to save up more for a good psu that is recomemded. If you need t you can try selling your components off to get the money. Also make sure that those twinmos work with the Ultra-d befor going into it because some people have problems with them but i have seen some get them to work so just look around and save up lol.
  12. hahha i know your problem. i just RMA'd that set of ram because it doesn't work. If you can RMA it try this its about the same price but known to work... http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-227-202&depa=0 or a pc3200 version of the rev2 seriese will work just as well.
