I have two 8cm fans on it I have a question, with TCCD I could get 300x9 1:1 stable perfectly, but maybe my mem controller cannot handle low latencies over ~250 htt?? Any advise about which bios i sould use? and also slots (orange or yellow). Thanks

I just received the mem and i have already try to OC it. Reme,ber they have UTT chips (BH-5 i guess because they do 2-2-2-5 with 2.7V) First at 2.7V vdimm with these settings works perfect without errors: 200 enable 2.0 02 05 02 07 14 03 03 02 03 0648 1 enabled auto 0 level 8 level 3 7.0ns 5.0ns 16 disable 16 07 disable With bios 702-2 and yellow slots. I have try to reach 250 with 3.3V (3.2V and using my OCZ powerStream to rail up the +3.3V line), but i got a couple of errors (around 10) per pass (test number 5 memtest86). I thinks is because of the bios and the latencies, not because of the mem. I tried TREF 3684 and 3120, Drive Strenght at Level5 also and Cycle Limit 256 too. Didn´t help at all. Also its wear that using oranje slots i got 2-3 less errors. so any idea???

I fixed the timing yesterday, i dont know how i didnt notice it! :nod: I am gonna burn at 3.4V 245 for a couple of hours, and lets see if it help to reach 250 at 3.4V (y tried just this morning with the timings fixed already 3.4V 250 and it gave me errors from PASS2, 14 errors, and after pASS4 i had already 240 errors...).. Finally i have test my dimms for a couple of hours, bios 310P: Thats with this settings at 3.4V, ldt@3x, [email protected] and [email protected] 200 Enable 2 6 2 7 15 2 2 1 2 3072 auto Enable Auto 0 Level8 Level2 7.0ns 5.0ns 16 disable 16 07 disable I guess not bad for "new" BH-5.. But, at 250 if gives me like 3000 errors per pass, to much to try burning no??, with 3.5V it doesn´t give errors at 250 but at 255 it does, huge number What do you recommend? 3.4V 245mhz for more than 5hours and see if after that it holds at 250 without errors??? or what?? I have 3 80mm fans (one for mem, one for mofset 4V, and the other for the rest of mofsets ). Should i take off the heatstink from the memory?? or try yellow slots?? or just easy and more relax latency (no idea witch to change :stick: ) Some superpi pics See you PD: Not bad for a 101€ pack mem no?

Ok, i think is fixed!! Yesterday the last thing i tired on my friend's computer was to flash to bios 310P, with the same result (impossible to get in windows). Today i told him to flash back to bios 414-3 and it work, it runs well now :nod: So, what was the problem??? i am very confused... Maybe the timings of his Mushkin New BH-5 dimms??? (i set them to cas2-2-2-5 (TREF to 3120) and the rest to auto with 2.9V (to be sure)... now he is running perfectly but at cas2.5-3-3-6 2.6V vdimm But the thing is we run 3dmark2003, sandra memory bandwidth and some other tests right at cas2-2-2-5 but then the computer started to run quiet cracy... :confused:

Hi there, i just build up a new system with a friend, for him of course ... Venice 3500+, DFI Ultra-D (bought this week, A00 revision if i read correctly), Mushkin UTT, Leadtek 6600GT Xtreme-Edition on 2º PCI-e (jumpers in SLI mode@8x), TAGAN 480W (24pins atx)... At the begining i failed trying to install windows XP PRO SP2 with 125 bios (i think is the oldest bios no??), blue screen with IRQ_EQUAL_LESS (or something like that)... Then i flash to 414-3 bios beta from oskarswu... finally i could install windows... I could also run 3dmark2003 (9200points) and Sandra Memory Bandwidth (5700MB/2 cas2 5-2-2, not bad :nod: ).. Then i tried, failed again, to install the cool and quiet, i did install the AMD driver from DFI like i did on my system, then i enable it on bios and when i set Minimun Energy in a few seconds the computer did reboot ... damm... ANd the last thing i could do, try to run PRIME95 custom torture test, It just reboot when i click to start it!!!... And from then, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE to boot up windows, ALWAYS reboot when its going to arrive to the desktop... (i could see the same blue screen which refers to the IRQ thing :confused: ) Memtest86 runs perfectly over 10 pass in test nº5... The thing is how did we be able to run 3dmark2003 perfectly and now is IMPOSSIBLE to get in windows??? HElp please... any idea whats going on??? THanks guys

Ok i know what you mean and thats what i tried first when i saw no boot with GOLD VX... and nothing.. I tried 2-2-5-2 3.2V, and the vcore thing i did´t try, i am too mad to try, because this comps store "likes" to send used items and also brokem items (motherboard and memory usually).. Maybe i will try, but know what i want its my money back... because i think that wont work either... Thanks anyway

No way, it doesnt boot up, i cannont get in the bios because of that, thats the weird thing, i spect maybe some blue screens or reboots.. but the thing is i cannot boot up the system, nothing in the screen..

Hi there, i have a rock solid systems (the one of my signature) @270x10 1:1 with TCCD . Today i bought 2 separate dimms of OCZ GOLD VX, because they had a good prize here in Spain, "just" 101€ per dimm. But i could boot up the system... no way, i have tried bios 310p, the one i had before, and then bios 414-3 . I did some ClearCMOS and also tried with jumper 4V vdimm enable. But i get the same thing, no boot and the POWERON Led of my case on but intermittent.. Then i put back my TCCD and without anything, clearcmos neither, i boot up perfectly... Any idea??? i tried them separately and together, no beeps, nothing... :beat: Help!! and thanks..

Thanks a lot man, from SPAIN . You did it, those timings fixed my "weird" problem, i could not pass before any memory bandwidth (sandra or Science mark v2), i was getting always a blue screen and mem overflow. But now everything's perfect. I had these timings before --> HERE ANd now this -->HERE I have to try TRAS to 7, i guess it'll work. I tested it with a entire PASS on memtest86 and other 3 loops of test number 5 , no errors (like before eh, i didn´t have errors with the other timings..). ANd now it doesn´t give me blue screen --> SANDRA Memory Bandwidth Thanks a lot!! i've also improve my superpi 1mb from 32'' to 31'' GRACIAS AMIGO! :nod:

Hi there. I am memtest86 free error at 290 1:1, but can´t go higher. Cas2.5 8-4-4 i have tried and also 3V vdimm, no way, the lowest errors number i could get was 44 errors. So... maybe some weird latency/timing i has to tweak?? I have the timings like this (change them from cas2.5 7-4-3 to cas2.5 8-4-4 for 290 ) Any idea?? or just my mem is not gonna go farther?? :confused: Also a WEIRD, WEIRD eh problem, 270x10 1:1 with thouse timings, almost stable --> 16 hours stable TORTURE TEST nº2, i can do whatever you want, almost rock solid, except that if i try both memory bandwidth from Sandra And Science Mark 2.0, blue screen and memory overflow... NOT ALWAYS but 80% times a try it does :confused: :confused:. It happens when i pass 240 htt.
