  1. Hi guys! I'm in the process of building a new comp and I've been out of the loop for quite some time now. I don't need SLI or crossfire so I decided on the UT P35-T2R. My question is, will the 9800GX2 have issues with the intel chipset? Maybe I'm over-thinking this but the 9800gx2 is two gpu's in one card, wouldn't that make it some kind of sli setup? I thought intel doesn't support sli. Anyways, enough of my rambling Can anyone confirm that the card and mobo will work without compatibility issues? Thanks!
  2. alright, i got everything working except 1 small problem. my mic doesn't work >_< does anyone know how to enable it again?
  3. roger that, by update, you mean just run it right and install everything but the ide driver right?
  4. oh, so the nf4 driver package is backwards compatible with nf3? also, do i dl both of them, and install the first then the 2nd? much thx for the reply!
  5. what's the newest chipset drivers available for my mobo?
  6. Ya I already did all of the above mentioned. Twas the craptastic psu that came with the case LOL! I switched it with my friends PSU (antec trueblue 480) and it boots up fine. The floppy's seek was disabled upon boot so that's why it didn't make the noise. Flashed the bios, partitioned my hdd and returned the antec psu. Now all I have to do is wait, just got a phone call from NCIX and the OCZ Powerstream is delayed another 2 weeks at minimum. So much for the generic being a "backup" psu.... haha
  7. sorry i can't help, mine wont post or detect my floppy drive
  8. Hi, I just put together the system in my sig. My OCZ Powerstream 520W still hasn't arrived yet, so I'm using the generic 350W power supply that came with my case for now (aspire x-dreamer II). So I only decided to power the Panaflo, DVD-Rom, Floppy and Video Card. After I installed everything, I pressed power to boot up the system. When doing so, I saw the DFI LanParty logo when the system booted up and I thought, " Yay! It works!" But nothing happened after that. I was waiting for it to post and such so I can go into bios but it just stayed at the DFI screen. I rebooted and same thing happened. My next thought was to clear the CMOS which resulted in the same thing, but this time I noticed that my Floppy didn't even make a noise or even showed any sign of life (light didn't turn on, didn't make the usual "Do Do Do... Duu du du du du du du du du" sound. So I put in my boot disk and still nothing happens and I thought wtf? My next thought was to reseat the ram and vid card and cpu.... that didn't solve anything. So I changed my SATA connector from SATA 1/2/3/4 and still didn't work. The floppy thing not showing any sign of life still bothered me, so I took my old floppy (yes, it works) and installed it into the new box and still nothing. I took the new floppy and installed it into my old box and the thing works like a charm. Now I'm kinda frustrated and start cursing in multiple languages... I took out the floppy cable that came with the DFI and tried to use my old one with it, but the FDD connector I tried connecting my old cable with is different? Instead of having the pin blocked out, it's open and all the pins must be open for the cable to fit. I kinda didn't notice this at first cause I pushed my old cable in with a little force and it broke the side bracket of the FDD slot on my mobo.... atleast it wasn't a pin that got busted So my question is.... what the heck do I do now besides wait for my OCZ PowerStream 520W which will take another week. Could it be my mobo is defected (I honestly hope it's not because I bought this back in September and left it in the closet until today and my 15 day return warranty is expired ) Any help would greatly be appreciated, I think I've done everything I could think of doing to get this thing to POST and detect my Floppy drive.
