  1. Well if i put it on 2,7 it makes a big beep and won't boot at all. But i will try higher
  2. won't work, ive tried those timings, but also the timings of the new ram stick and then adding it. Also tried other ram voltages but then i get a big beep . Also tried clearing CMOS for 10 minutes, didn't work either....
  3. Well it's actually quite strange, first it clocked back at 333 mhz (that is what happens according to the manual if u have 2 doublesided ram sticks). But still said 512 mb. After some tweaking and switching the sticks it said 2t, but that also changed to 1t sometimes.... so always 512 mb.
  4. I'm having some problems adding extra memory to my system. The RAM already in there (bank doesn't mather) is Corsair CMX512-3200C2 (3-3-3-8 @ 200 mhz) The memory i tried to add is Corsair Value 512MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM (2,5-3-3-8) Win XP and the motherboard keep saying there is only 512 mb, while cpu-z says there is 1024 mb and Everest Home Edition does recognize them. I tried every bank combination, they also work seperatly. I can trade this memory for Crucial 512MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM, that has 3-3-3-8, but i'm not sure if that would work. My specs (also in my sig ^^): LanpartyUT nF3-250Gb - latest official bios 512 mb Corsair XMS 3200@200 mhz 3-3-3-8 Leadtek 6800le 128 mb A64 3200+ (2,2 ghz Newcastle)Boxed CPU cooler Zalman 400B-APS, stable lines... Hitachi 160GB (Deskstar 7K250, 7200RPM, 8MB, SATA) NEC 3520A Win XP Professionel x64 edition NOTHING OVERCLOCKED
  5. It's been a while but anyway, i updated my sig now So the problem is my cd-burner, a sony crx175a1...... I have my HDD (Seagate 80020 ATA/100) as a master with an IDE DVD-ROM 16x If i uninstall the dvd rom xp still boots...but when i put my burner as a slave it doesnt work... I've tried every jumper setting  Updating firmware isn't really an option since i cant even go into windows... I'm going to flash the latest bios in the afternoon, maybe that will help
  6. No one :S at least say it if i'm missing smthing :S
  7. First my specs: DFI lanparty nforce3 250gb (old bios) AMD 64 3200+ (Newcastle) Corsair XMS 512 mb Geforce4 MX 460 64 mb (Windows Xp sp2) PSU: Zalman 400B-APS I installed everything using a Seagate 80 gb HDD (ATA) Sony DVD-player (lol don't know the word in english ) But i also have a CD-RW player (Sony CRX175A1), and when i tried to install it XP doesnt start....I tried using the CD-RW as a master alone, i tried to use it as a slave with my HDD, every possible combinations 0_O but it still doesnt work. I couldnt find something in the FAQ, only smthing with Western Raptor harddisk and that the motherboard tries to find a slave if the HDD is set to master....
