  1. By default the MAC address is set to disabled. Look on the AGP port and there will be 2 stickers with a MAC address on them , one of them is for the nforce card enter that into the bios when you enable MAC address and that will get the card connected and working. You must then install the Forceware software that came with the CD and turn off Checksom Offload under network/ethernet if you have a problem with connection stability.
  2. That sounds like the PSU protecting itself from a short or ground. Check cabling, back off MB screws half a turn ect.
  3. He would need to use Sysprep to do it right and there is a sticky for that around here somewhere Its not clear to me that he is actually getting as far as the OS though.
  4. I agree with upgrading the power supply , also try that ram in different slots and maybe up the voltage in the bios for vdimm. If all auto doesn't work for you check the timings and set them manually. You do need a new PSU however.
  5. Welcome to your journey into the hidden frontier where no man has gone before. " Capt. James T. Kirk - The Enterprise." Try the 4/15 beta bios DFI Bios Page
  6. If you go to Lanpartys then yes the accesseries are worth it otherwise no.
  7. The IDE driver also causes burning errors for me with my LiteOn so I use windows standard.
  8. With your OC I would think you would be scoring better yes. My system at stock 2.2ghz, 200@2,2,2,6 hits almost double your score. Im at work so cant post it but yeah. I know 3dMark05 isnt a real time over all performance benchmark but it is a multimedia benchmark which is why I OC in the first place to play games and blow . up yeah!
  9. Plays a tune from The Good, bad and the ugly... That's an ugly 3D mark05 score for those settings you are running.
  10. My OCZ 3500's needed 2.9v to post if I had both sticks in. In slot 2 by itself it posted at 2.6v. I knew my ram was fine as I had it in my Lanparty B doing 250 fsb. I bought these mushkins and they posted right up at 2.6v on all auto and run great. These boards seem to be sensitive to ram and I am not sure as to why but it may have to do with all of the advanced memory options you don't see in other boards. Or maybe its just those damn Japanese capacitors! :tooth:
  11. Put in the Mushkins in slots 1 and 2 and they played nice on auto memtest and 3dmark looking good. It doesn't seem this board wants to play nice with my OCZ 3700's so ill put them back in my Lanparty b and give that to the wifey.
