Ok, this is a long story, so sit down and grab something to eat... I got the Lan Party NFII Ultra B, and I loved it like a son of a gun. There was some issues, and I believed that it was the Athlon XP 3000+ that was fried. I got a new processor(mobile 2800+), and got it working. It worked fine, until about a week later, it started to crash, and lock up in windows XP. The mouse would work and move, and the keyboard will move. Except the computer is running god awful slow. I can only open up Task Manager sometimes, and it won't even show anything in it. *I also RMA'd the board, and got a new one back* I got some Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area error, and then I got a win32k.sys error, but that was the first and only time I got that error. I have tried underclocking the ram, swapping ram, and that isn't the problem. This is not the first time I've ran into this. I also got a NV4_disp.sys BSOD once and that I believe is the nVidia Video card that I have installed on this. Do you think that the video card could be the problem? Thanks Ahead of time! If you have any questions, just ask. I'll do my best to help you help me.

Yes, that is EXACTLY what is happening to me. I'm so happy that I'm not the only one. Keep me updated on what is going on with yours, I'm RMAing the board this weekend back and hopefully they'll take care of it. But if you find a good solution, please tell me. Thanks -

you can stop making me feel bad with your PC4000 ram:eek: . I am going to cry over in a corner for a little bit ok? PS: I think i'll just RMA it back to newegg and have them send me a new one, I have this nice matsonic mobo that's holding me down, until it gets back... I think that company went out of business now... hah -

now when you talk about letting it clear, should I just leave it without power or battery for a couple days, or do I have to take it out. I don't have the proper tool to do that... I have let it sit overnight, but I'm not sure if all the power was off. -

Just to let you know, I tested the 3000+ in my 2400+ computer, and it works... I'm guessing it is the bios... I can't really RMA it because it is over 30 days -

that would be only after I reset bios... and it didn't do that everytime, but it did do it quite often in my many attempts to reset bios -

I know, beating my head against the wall didn't help... well, it did help the stress, but it gave me a headache. I tried putting a 2400+ in there to see if it was the CPU, and It still wouldn't boot. I am in the process of putting the 3000+ in my 2400+ computer (which it is supposedly compatible). I'll get back to you guys -
This one will keep you scratching your head. I have been having mega trouble with my LAN Party NFII Ultra B board for about 4 weeks now, and it finally has offically pissed me off. Out of nowhere, I turn it on now, and everything starts but the monitor doesn't I have tried... -unplugging, and reconnecting all wires -changing power supplies -changing ram sticks -change monitor -change video cards -reset CMOS (but all I get after that is the monitor turns on as I hit power, then shuts off -even swapping processors If you think my motherboard is dead, I have a question... would I RMA it to my place I bought it from (newegg) or do I send it to DFI, and what happens if I don't have the case for it anymore? Thanks, you guys have helped me through all of this... It's so nice to have this great support. I gaurentee that nobody could match this like DFI has done.
