Spoke to an engineer today (from the company that actually sold me the Striker II) - tried lots of different options to get a decent overclock but no luck. He's had a lot of experience overclocking and he doesn't think much of the Striker II Forumla (and its predecessor) and recommeded getting the EVGA 780i so thats what I'm going to do...

All sounds very familiar, I've a relatively poor but only a year old 720W supply which never reads over 400 even with dual 8800's on Crysis. However check your Northbridge temp, I was getting reboots but has really improved after cooling my Northbridge. I've not found a tool to reliably check the Northbridge in windows but in the BIOS it was ticking over at 85-88 !! The pc reboots itself when it hits 90. I'm currently using the 2 optional fans that came with the striker 2 (the ones for water/passive cooling "only") and wedged them on the northbridge heatsink itself which cools mine to low-mid 70's. Personally I'm struggling to get much more than 3ghz out of my q6600 by upping the FSB, would have thought the voltage would be upped automatically as needed, is it worth setting manually, if so to what sort of level ? Looking to get somewhere between 3.3 and 3.6ghz
