What would you recommend as a replacement (my current drive is in my siggy)?

Recently, I've been having problems with my computer completely locking up or crashing when gaming. Today I found 17 entries for the following error in the event log, does this mean my HDD is failing?

I need a new gaming mouse. However, I'm torn between three mice. The G5, G9 and the Razer Lachesis. I've read that the G5 and G9 are palm mice and the lachesis is a finger mouse. I currently have a Razer CopperHead, if I decide to go with either the G5 or G9, will I have a hard time adjusting to the ergonomics of these palm mice? Edit: I've noticed that I hold the CopperHead with most of my hand, not just my fingers.

I've tried following the fan setup guide here but I don't have the threshold box as shown in this picture. Is there supposed to be a threshold box??? PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Thanks for those comforting words. My friend had me worried because I'm about to drop $400+ on the BenQ G2400W, which I hear is a good monitor.

I had a friend tell me that he works a Futureshop and he sees a lot of BenQ monitors come in for repairs and that they need repairing after 1-2 years. Is this true for BenQ monitors or maybe all LCDs?

I have two questions: 1)Would there be any noticeable difference between a monitor with a 5ms response time as opposed to one with a 2ms response time? It kind of sucks that there isn't a standardized way of measuring contrast ratio because it makes it very hard to tell which monitor really is the best, without actually seeing it in person of course. Also, for me it is rather had to actually get to bestbuy or any other computer store because the closest one is 45+ miles away

I originally bought a Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW from bestbuy (I compared image quality to the other monitors they had on display) and loved it except for the overall blue dominance and the fact that I could not get DVI to work (it worked for like a day and went out or something).

It is good however, the contrast ratio is nowhere near the Samsung's (700:1 vs. 8000:1). Higher is better, correct?

What is the best gaming monitor for $200-$300? I was thinking about buying this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16824001268 What do you guys think?
