Vista seems to have new procedures for file and printer sharing. You might give this article a thorough read if you haven't already: Microsoft TechNet - File and Printer Sharing in Windows Vista

Just wanted to follow up. kingdingeling and hardnrg mentioned the X3100. I wasn't able to find that piece of information before, so I looked around and pulled up these reviews on it: http://www.tech.co.uk/computing/upgrades-a...intel-gma-x3100 http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?art...2147&page=3 Yeah, definitely not going to be playing the latest and greatest. I saw C&C: TFD in the store the other day next to C&C 3. I can get down on some old C&C!

Ah well... I'll just go dig up an old relic in a bargain bin somewhere. Nothing beats the classics, right? Thanks to everyone for the replies!

Yeah, I was pretty sure it wouldn't... I just wanted a second opinion from some of the more seasoned gamers. My desktop was aging and I bought a laptop since I'm going back to college soon. I guess it's time to start piecing together a new system if I want to have any fun time. Thanks for the input.

Let me start by saying hello to everyone. I've browsed the OCC forums for sometime and have found useful information here on several occasions. I have a question about running Command and Conquer 3 on a VAIO laptop I just got (VGN-FZ140E) and figured this would be the best place to ask. Here's the relevant stuff: Windows Vista 1.80 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo 2GB Memory Mobile IntelĀ® 965 Express Chipset Family [Display adapter] (2x) Will it run well enough? I don't want to go blow the $50 on it if not.
