Edit: Oh I'm willing to spend about $50-100 on one or two(if possible)
  5. I'm thinking about getting new ram for now and save up for a new rig rather than buying both -_- . Do you have any suggestions for someone on a budget ^_^ ? My mother board has 4 slots and accepts DDR400/PC3200, DDR333/PC2700, or DDR266/PC2100 Dimms. Thanks again for the help

My specs are: Intel P4 2.4 GHz ASUS P4SD 2x 256mb DDR Dual Channel XFX GeForce 7600GT Can someone tell me why my fps is so low? Is it my specs? How can I improve it? thanks!

  10. Ahh I'm stupid, how did I not notice that one, sorry for wasting your time, the pic links don't switch up they only show the first pic btu i skimmed thru and found it, do I plug my PSU plug in there? because I do have one extra left.
  11. iKillSteal: yes my card is AGP and when you talk about the molex connector, are you talking about the two big or small ones? Sorry ><, but if you are talking about the big one I used an adapter to hook it up the first time but that didn't do no good, and If you're talking about the small one I hooked it up with the cable that came with the card but I don't know where the other end goes. p4blo32: k but where does the other end go? thanks for the help guys
  12. iKillSteal: Even though it is out of stock now, this is the one I bought, http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...p?EdpNo=3084628 . The only cables I've connected to my mother boards are the 24 ATX power connector (I use 20) and the 4 pin one thats above the fan connector if thats what you're talking about, the rest, are in the drives or just extras. I don't want to bother you about getting pics, I think just telling me would be enough, thanks for the offer though . Krazyxazn : I know one goes to the video card but I have no idea where the other goes
  13. iKillSteal: Are you talking about the PSU cables? If so, I don't think thats the problem because I switch the graphic cards like twice to test it and each time on my 5200FX my monitor comes on but on the 7600Gt it doesn't (the computer turns on though, you just don't see it on the monitor). I appreciate the fast reply though. Krazyxazn: I have no idea where the new cables go because my old graphics card only had to be inserted (I'm a newbie ). But it came with a 4 pin plug that goes to on board socket of the card but I don't know where the other side connects to, it came with some cables. Do you have any ideas? Thanks for the replies guys.
  14. I've uninstalled my old card (GeForce FX 5200) from the device manager and its drivers from Add/Remove and then I installed my new one (7600 GT) in my comp but my monitor will not display when I turn it on and says no signal.. what am I doing wrong? help please.
  15. When I plug it in nothing starts not in the case nor the psu spins only the power button blinks and I'm pretty sure I have everything in and correctly based on my old psu.. The PSU just arrived too, could it be that it is faulty? any ideas? edit: ahh I got it working I Had to take the extra 4 pins off the 24 atx connector =X, Sorry to bother and thanks for ur help!
