hi all im new to the forum kind of a noob still and had a question, heres a quick summary of my setup p4 3.0 ghz 800mhz fsb, 1gb ram(512 corssair 500mhz/512 generic 500mhz), ecs photon pf1 mobo, ati 9600se 324/200 (oc max 374/209 fan cooled )so far. anyways im running atitool and the 3d window says im running 76fps(frames per sec) with all my normal settings nothing oc-ed aa and af filters off, then my bios allows me to manually ajust the cpu clock speed and whenever i increase from 200 to say 210 with a multiplier of 15 then my fps on the atitool say im now running around 55fps even when i oc my gpu to its max it the fps only goes up to about 63, i thought an increase in my cpu speed would increase my comps gaming ability, can someone please tell my why they think this is happening? im stuck thanx for the help
