I agree with kanbeki. I've had some driver issues as well, but since it's a beta and not a full release it's not a big deal. Most hardware companies are just now writting drivers for the new OS so it will take some time to get those out. But I agree with you on the statement xp with better graphics.

My Linux (Gentoo) Box is the easiest to maintain of any of my systems. But then again, I can't play games or do alot of video editing on it. But as a server it's amazing. So, I think that each operating system has it's use and draw backs. Just my .02 cents

Yeah, I'm looking at the powerbooks as well. There is a big sale going on with the powerbooks right now because apparently all new models are coming out soon so they are trying to sell off what the currently have.
