The new headkit from http://www.extremeprometeia.co.uk/ is very good. It's a very tight fit. You shouldn't have any problems. -

LOL, bought that SilenX 120mm Cpu fan for 8 hours use. -
Thought it would be better to centralise the 6xx seies posts in one as theyre all over the place. I'm currently running 4438Mhz on a 650. I'm using a Mach II & Geil PC4000 @ 261 fsb 1:1 The Vcore is @ 1.5v The temp reading are now constant using the Prommi. Constantly wrong LOL. CPU , system temp 25c.

I've put the voltage up to 1.5v and everythings fine (with a mach II). Memory is at it's limit. It's only DDR500 and I've got it running @ 260 fsb. My new ram should be here tomorrow (DDR600). |I'll post back. The temps as always are miles out. The cpu is now Hotter under then MAch II @ 73c the system temp is @ 25c Both value's remain constant now. -

When you Unlock the multiplier it greys it out. Lock the multiplier allows you to change the figure but it doesn't have any affect. It still uses the default multiplier. At the moment dispite apparently good temps I can only get it stable 1Mhz above the easy overclock 15%. Added more voltage etc but cannot get it stable. I'll keep trying. Temperature reading in bios compared to the reported temps in windows are between 10-15c degrees out! -

Just using the Alt+F2 before boot with the pre-beta bios Angry posted. I'm new to this motherboard and just didn't see it. Pure tiredness. Just got it stable at just over 4Ghz but I'll leave it at that untill tomorrow. Working as tired as I am can have disasterious results. I'll be sticking my Mach II on it at weekend and we can see what this baby will do. -

Installed the 650, it gets to where it says ''Updating ESCD' then locks up. It recognises it as a P4 3.4Ghz, i've tried disabling the cache and cpu features to see if that helps, but no. I've tried it without HD and floppy attached, just the basic graphic card and nothing else. I downloaded the bios but obiously it doesn't get far enough to load it. Will I need to get hold of a 500 series chip first, update the bios then try the new CPU? Thanks -

Hi again Lando I was just about to order it when I saw that it's in stock here http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo...roductID=176849 At 3.4Ghz but with 2M cache it should be a better overclocker, well in theory anyway. It's just the support to worry about. -
Does anyone know if it will support this CPU? I was just about to order my 560J when I saw they now have this in stock. Are they any good anyway? any info would be great thanks.
