DFI NF4 + Corsair 4400C2.5 - DRAM Config

Ok, spent last night and today making this for everyone that has Corsair 4400C2.5 memory that cannot get it to work.

oops, forgot to give a HUGE SPECIAL THANKS to Infinity for sending this 4400C2.5 to me to allow me to test, and for not getting upset that it has taken me almost 3 months to get around to testing!!!!.

 

 

gonna try now to get this rig in the Overclocking Database with one of them Rgone setups (his is 290x10, don't know if I will get that, but I can probably get pretty good since these modules seem to be fantastic!)

Rgone had his own sticky, in the Overclocking section, on this memory, with his own recommended timings. That thread appears to have been deleted within the past 8 hours.

 

The thing is, Rgone had recommended those timings for memory other than just the Corsair 4400C2.5.

 

I understand that DFI-street has a "working relationship" with various manufacturers, and that the other thread might have confused the issue as to what was ideal for JUST the Corsair memory, but is it possible to post Rgone's timings elsewhere?

Hi, I have those memories, and i can't get 275mhz or +:drool: 1:1 at 2.8v Vdimm.

I have a 618-1 bios. What bios version are you using in the test or the recommended version for this memory? .

 

I have a test a lot of version of bios and only the 618-1 has have a stable at 275mhz.

 

I need help for configure this motherboard pleese!

strange

 

i though most Corsair 4400C2.5 didnt even do cas 2.0? (mine doesnt)

 

not that i mind this bein posted as an possible example though

 

i just think u have more chance using 2.5 3 3 7 or something

Rgone's settings were overclocked settings. These are stock speed settings to help people get up and running at stock speeds (what good is overclocking if you cannot even get stock speeds????)

 

the values above are workable on a 3200+ Venice as well as a 4400+ X2, and also a 3200+ Sempron 939 (not that anyone has one of these)

 

to whoever was asking which bios...maybe you should take a look at the screenshots as it lists which bios version I am using.

 

Using a -1 bios is NOT RECOMMENDED....-1 is so super tight that BH-5 based memory will barely run

 

 

I'm just completing the last tests to put this in the Overclocking Database @ 275x10

 

I didnt have a single hitch getting this memory running stock speeds nor getting it to do it's rated speed of DDR550 (275Mhz)

 

This thread is for everyone that has this memory that has complained to me that they cannot get it to run stock speeds.

See! I told everyone the stuff would work. It's a shame my Clawhammer seems to hate high HTT. How high have you gotten Memtest to pass, AG? :)

nope, 275x10 was the max i could go

 

300x9 might be achievable but it would not be as good as 275x10 (2750Mhz = better than 2700Mhz, cpu mhz is the key)
