the motherboard alone already supports 3.1v and u can just do a Volt mod....there is sumwhere here that they discussed using the volt mod..

Why do a volt mod when you can go out and buy a DDR Booster .

I think it works... I stuffed one on that board and the display on the booster did not work... but using the bios voltage readout the booster does actually seem to do what it is supposed to...

 

You just have to adjust while the machine is on in bios while watching the voltage measurement there in bios.

 

but who knows... I don't have RAM that really wants high voltage but it seems to work.

volt mods are obvious when you want to RMA your dead board, so i can see the purpose of a booster.

also as a compatibility note, boosters are compatible with only certain boards, here is a compatibility chart in which your board is not listed:

it works its just that my stupid gold vx can't be stable even at 3.5v also my readout works

Without a sig, I can't see what kind of "stupid gold vx" you have. I'm also running "gold vx", an nF3 UT 250, and just recently removed my DDR Booster. (Yes, my readout worked)

 

My ram is running 2-2-2-8, [email protected], rock steady without the booster.
