Kingston PC2700 512MB. 75 bucks DVD-RW. 200 bucks. With DVD-RW you don't need a DVD drive lol. I would suggest a regular CD burner for 50 bucks. Case you mentioned. 109 bucks. Total: 697. That means you can get a good video card. 9700 Pro AWI 128MB. 346 bucks. Over your 1000 dollar price by about 40 bucks.
