Seanohue Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 I am getting ready to buy one of these and have done a lot of research on them. I like it mainly because of the huge amount of OCing I can do on it. Just need 1 thing cleared up: I was reading on another forum how OCing in large steps can fry the BIOS, can anyone confirm or bust this? That's why you OC in steps then test each step to get to your max stable OC Prospector is right.. NEVER EVER just bump your clocks to something that is soo far from stock.. Thats the same with ANY mobo and ANY type of overclocking.. That could do damage to many things and not just bios.. Always take little steps on your way up to find your maxes..
