eBoy0 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Seeing as how i have the booster in my hands right now i would use it... but i was wondering what you guys would suggest? The reason i ask is because the booster has been giving me problems because of the sensetivitly of the knob.
pershoot Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 use 5v. cool top right hand side of the board, dont go below 3.3v.
eBoy0 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 use 5v. cool top right hand side of the board, dont go below 3.3v. Why not go below 3.3v? I'm currently at 3.5v and windows is VERY unstable, sometimes boots, sometimes doesnt, sometimes bluescreens... got like 2000 errors 5 seconds into memtest, what gives? 7/2 bios... stock everything! Fire-N-Ice Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 if you go below 3.3 you should just use the 3.3 volt rail, as it's more stable. What voltage does that mushkin need for stock?
eBoy0 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 3.3-3.5v is what site says... this sucks, my booster is kinda busted... and the 4v isn't stable at ALL!

cecco Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 I have the same problem when going to 4v. Anything less than 3.4 and the comp freezes on reboots. Does cooling the upper right hand corner help with stability? Because I don't have really a way to fit anything up there to cool that little heatsink. What do you guys use? sdat1333 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 i dont have the board but would a 120mm fan over the ram also cool the upper right corner?
