Which to use; 4v, 3.3v or DDR Booster?

Recommended Posts

Seeing as how i have the booster in my hands right now i would use it... but i was wondering what you guys would suggest? The reason i ask is because the booster has been giving me problems because of the sensetivitly of the knob.

use 5v. cool top right hand side of the board, dont go below 3.3v.

Why not go below 3.3v? I'm currently at 3.5v and windows is VERY unstable, sometimes boots, sometimes doesnt, sometimes bluescreens... got like 2000 errors 5 seconds into memtest, what gives? 7/2 bios... stock everything!

I have the same problem when going to 4v. Anything less than 3.4 and the comp freezes on reboots. Does cooling the upper right hand corner help with stability? Because I don't have really a way to fit anything up there to cool that little heatsink. What do you guys use?
