krusteeshdw Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Which BIOS would you recommend for my memory and CPU? I am currently using the 310p bios and it works well. I have also tried the 510T beta bios allegedly optimised for TCCD chips. 510T wasnt that great. Or is it just me? I noticed that 623 is the new official bios. Should I switch to it or is there a better BIOS for me? Thanks.

red930 Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I am currently using the 310p bios and it works well. I like the theory don't fix it if it ain't broke, but I also like pushing things to the extreme so I have a bios saviour and an extra bios chip that lets me try diff biosis without as much risk. If you have a back up plan or two in case something goes wrong, flash away
krusteeshdw Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Thanks for your unput. I think that I will stick with the good old 310p bios becasue I have noticed some unusual memory behaviour with the 'TCCD optimised' 510T1 bios. I have tried the 623 type bioses before and they didint do much for me. I am primarily interested in performance and responsiveness as I am not an overclocker. Cheers.
