SATA Optical Drives

Well, purchased a DVD SATA Drive and putting this thing together did I make a mistake.........can not fid a connector for SATA? Just double checking.....lol

So go buy a SATA cable and connect it. Whats the problem.

yes, you are correct, I guess I mis understood.... I thought those were only for hard drives.......... would it matter if I plugged it into the 4th sata or should i utilize 5-8..... Wow, now i feel like a dumb a......... anyway to delet this thread.....lol

A SATA port is a SATA port. You can plug anything with a SATA interface into it. It doesn't matter which port you use. I would just use the ones through the nForce 4 chipset though. Just make sure you have those ports enabled in the BIOS.
