DFI-user Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Hello i am from the Netherlands and i have the following problem : I have bought a DFI SLI-DR with AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+, 2.2Ghz, 1Mb (Manchester). Now when I start up my computer my SLI-DR doesn't recorgnise my processor. The bios is from 10-03-2005. When I looked at the DFI-site I downloaded the latest BIOS with flash. Now when I put my floppy as first boot device everything goes ok but at different moments my computers hangs and then i must reset the computer. The computer doesn't even get to update the bios I have put one memory in in the orange banc What is the problem ?

StephenC Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Need to create a signature. See link in my signature. As per above post, need to flash to latest official bios to support your processor. Just place one stick of ram in dimm slot 2 to flash bios.
