MorLipf Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Hi, after my problem that the motherboard only shows 3 LEDs and won't boot I have a new problem. With an old PCI video card I can start the computer and get a signal on my screen. But the Inno3D Geforce 6800GT isn't recognized. All power connectors are plugged in and I also tried to set the PCI-E Slots to Sli. It doesn't matter which slot I use, the card isn't recognized. But the fan of it is running. If I start the computer it seems that the motherboard makes 5 to 10 resets before it powers up. The bios is 6/23. Any suggestions? Do I have a faulty board or is the video card the problem? Frallan Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 3 LEDs still on - that is RAM not VIDEO Try with one stick of RAM in Slot 2.
MorLipf Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I solved the 3 LED Problem by clearing CMOS, inserting a PCI video card and flashing the newest official bios. Now the computer boots fine with a PCI video card. But the PCI-Express card isn't recognized. I don't get a signal on my screen if the card is inserted. If the old pci card is removed and I try to boot I get the beep signal that says "no video adapter found".

MorLipf Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Yes, all power cables are connected to the motherboard and the video card.
