99015 Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 i looked through some ut2003 benchmarks and saw a radeon 9800pro had got 79 FPS on screen res 1280 x 1024 6xAA 8xAF and decided to put my 9700pro through its paces at the res etc. anyway after running the benchmark my computer got 141 fps. can anyone explain it coz i puzzled? 99015 Posted July 18, 2003 Posted July 18, 2003 oh thats the reason im using 1GB whereas the test system was using on 512KB, but both computers used 7500rpm hdd, and and AMD Athlon 3000+. so does RAM make one hell of a difference where performance is concerned?
