Problem description: Problem occurs during gaming, repeatable when loading EverQuest. I can load and run 1 instance of the game with no trouble. However, often if I load a 2nd, and alway if I load a 3rd, as soon as the game finishes loading the computer shuts down and reboots.

Any suggestions? The above configuration was the first one I found that would even let me load a single instance of EQ or any game / program without randomly freezing. I admit I am a newbie to most of this, was hoping to learn.

Thank you for any assistance anyone is able to provide.

Not a clue atm. For so long I have been stuck on a couple of very poor systems, that I have been unable to play other games.

Even in EQ, I can run 1 instance of the game no problem. However, the reboots happen as soon as I try to load a 2nd (sometimes a 3rd, but rarely can I get past 2).

surely this sounds more like an everquest issue.you have to get a few intensive games if you want to suspect its the RAM. Battlefield 2, Half Life 2 etc, try them and if no issue I think you will find EQ has its own issues.

wasnt there a strange thing with WoW that happens with certain setups?
