steelballzz Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 sorry m8 wich one.......the one u told me is older than the one i have right now i was aiming for something like 7.xx if this the cold boot issue how can an older bios solve the problem? 23-6 is the last official as far as i know ....but i could be wrong if the problem could be solved why didnt dfi "cured" the cold boot issue? i am getting more confused as time goes by and i will not flash anything until i am shure of what i am doing dont get me wrong i am listening very carefully to everything that u guys are telling me but i wil take my conclusions after all of your opinions i d rather have a rig that runs ok but cannot be turned off than another one that i dont know if its gonna work after the bios flash thnxs 4 your time Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sharp Posted July 31, 2005 Posted July 31, 2005 510FIX series has BIOS 623 startup code, When you power the PC it should apply the voltage to the memory that you specify in the BIOS. 510-2FIX, I cant guarantee that it will work but it has cured many problems for other users When you flash to this BIOS it will show up as 623.
