Video Card STUCK in lanparty??

Hi.

 

This may sound like the dumbest post on earth but I cannot for the life of me get my BFG GeForce6800 out of my Lanparty UT 250gb. On all mobos I've had there is always that little switch on the far right of the AGP slot to 'eject' the right end of the card. For some reason (partially due to the size of the card) i cannot see under at all and nomatter how hard i try to feel around for a switch or something i cannot find one. I've tried pulling it out but don't want to break the card or the board and don't know what to do.

 

What am i doing wrong???

Have you tried reaching the clip from the backside of the card?

I believe that you just need to put alittle pressure from the top with your finger on the retaining clip, and then pull w/ your other hand, it should just pop out.

 

Be careful and don't force ANYTHING, believe me, i learned from experience, i broke the video clips right off on my asus a8n-sli!

you have to "squeeze" the retention clip down at the far end of the AGP slot for it to come loose. I agree, this type of clip can be a PITA, especially with these large video cards.
