tizyler Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'm working on overclocking my system right now. Going step by step, I got my HTT/FSB to max at 233. After that I lowered it to 200, put my multiplier to 11, and began raising the HTT again. I raised voltages to 1.55 (which is lower than recommended) and was having issues booting. I then lowered it to 1.50 and it booted fine. I'm thinking I have a power issue--regardless, I kept raising my HTT after it was booting again and only got it to 225x11 then generated errors on OCCD. My question: I realize that because I couldn't boot with that voltage I could have probably booted with higher clock settings, but since I generated errors on settings that my PSU COULD handle, that pretty much means that those settings are the highest I can achieve on any PSU, doesn't it? If you have any questions about what I'm trying to ask just tell me, I just wanna OC my stuff!
Fire-N-Ice Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 follow the guides here in the forum, and find each components max. Maybe your ram is pooping out. You need to create a signature, so we know what components you have. After you do these, come back with your findings, and we'll be here to help!
