Live Wire Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Been messing around trying to get best settings on my rig and found i am able to run ddr400@2t on my winnie thought this was not possible. Passed memtest and passed 1 run on 3dmark 2005. Have not tried 1t yet but may give it a go. The fsb is set at stock at moment (200). Did notice what i thought was unusual when overclocking that i could run a higher fsb at ddr360 as opposed to ddr333. I could hit 275 no probs with 1GB but have now got 2GB and am only able to reach 265 @ ddr360 with x9multi does having 2GB reduce fsb. Exar_333 Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 its possible from what I have seen, but I know a fe people who blew out their mem controllers doing that...i guess do so at your own risk... personally, why not sell the winnie and then pay the extra 20 bucks for an E core...then not risk it at all?? your call i guess...
