Waterblock Design

I am going to make my own waterblocks. I now have the copper. I have one piece thats 1/2" x 4" x 6" for making the bases, and two pieces that are 3/16" x 2" x 6" for the caps (cost me 38$CAN, not bad eh?). I have access to a home built computer controlled CNC machine(3 axis) that my father in law built (he's an amazing guy). I have some ideas for the water-pathway designs but I'd like to have some dimensions on what size to cut the block. Part of the bottom will have to be milled back as well I believe (for the cpu retension mechanism). I've found some DIY articles but they all seem Quite low quality. Does anyone have a good link?
