If not, I also have a nVidia 6600GT video card and it has an ambient temp monitor, is that as close as I'm going to get to monitoring case temps? vega27 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 if you install the ITE smartguardian program that should have shipped with your motherboard, you'll see it has three readings- CPU, PWMIC and SYSTEM, i think. not sure where exactly the SYSTEM sensor is but it's out there somewhere on the motherboard. think that's what most people use for case temp.
