PC1X1 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 On Statements above, umm I am glad you like OCing and all but wtf people this isnt a game, your playing with a high invesment here, u dont #@%@%^@ oc unless either you need the performance or testing something. If you oc anything wiht more than 10% you better have a darn good reason or you just risked everything for nothing. AIM and Emailing, I admire your want for OCing, but bro wtf? were you thinking, clock down, not drastically but to something that will last you longer, and performance wise you wont be affected, my opinion mind you, otherwise good job on oc. __________________

noktekniq Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 suit urself... i'm on zalman air and my voltages aren't high anyways... all i need to do is play it safe and make everything stable...
Drew Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 RMA'ing something you burned up is irresponsibility at it's finest, and warranties are voided after overclocking. If you can't afford to/aren't willing to replace something, then leave it alone.

Yashu Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 hehehe... maybe he is a nihlist. Overclocking should be pretty save if your temps are within range... but! If all I did was AIM and windows media... hmm... a pIII would be overkill even.
