davidhammock200 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Thank you for your help, I guess I'll have to change the PSU then I can buy this one http://reviews.pimprig.com/power_supply/en..._eg701ax-ve.php Will this be ok? Yes, get this, your current +12V@15A doesn't even pass the laugh test. Good Luck, Dave
Frallan Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Lets wait for that PSU and see.... Then we can rule things out one after one. The problem when identifying an PSU issue is that its randomly screwing up the computer.
challa Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 http://www.coolermaster-europe.com/index.p...T01CM%20Stacker This is my case, with all the fan and cross flow fan installed. Cpu Temp is 35-37° C . So I dont think it's a temp and flow issue. I'm waiting for the PSU which should arrive today or tomorrow.
mathboy Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Try looking at RGone's post if you haven't already... my Ultra-D would crash out of the box (until I set up the memory manually) RGone's Up 'N' Running Settings
challa Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Changed the PSU but still it crashes radomly so I guess it wasnt because of the PSU. I really dont know what to do
Frallan Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Ok then it is memory and drivers... At what voltages are U running Memory/CPU... U had a issue after 53 minutes in Prime. Its not stable but shouldn't be the issue. Lets just see if we can drop that from the list of culprits as well. The RG base setup ^*2 is a good thing as well. Once we have all tests stable Ull probably have to reinstall windows tho. Is that a 3500+ Venice or Winchester?

challa Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I followed the instruction of RGone that someone (thanks! ) linked and after doing that I was able (for the first time) to install WoW. I raised the Vcore and Dram voltage as suggested in that post. I had all the values on Auto and standard. Now it seems, keyword being seems, more stable. I'm going to run a few tests to see if it crashes again. Thanks everyone for your help. I'll post some results after the tests in a few hours
