Oclock Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 So ive been burning these in according to this forum http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11442 But the problem is i cant boot with the 3.3v on step 9. Everything up until then has run smoothly. I raised my psu to 3.45, using a DMM,as advised but it just leads to a "detecting array" i tried lowering the fsb and 3.3 but still a no go. So last night i just looped all tests at 3.2v 220 with about 19000 errors, eww. im really confused on what i should do next. And as of right now i can run 225 stable with 3.1v 2-2-2-5. THunDA Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Sometimes the 3.3v rail needs to be higher then just .15v of the vdimm.. I would raise it to 3.5v and see if that makes a difference.. Also make sure you unplug your psu and clear the cmos with the battery out for 10mins.
Oclock Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 i cleared the cmos and what non then i moved it up to 3.5 but still wouldn't boot, then i put it just at 200 fsb with 3.3 and it booted but it ran memtest with tons of errors.
Mark099 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Do you have 2 80mm fans blowing air directly into the ram? Also, what settings are you using?

Oclock Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 well i got it to work right now with this cl1.5: A-A-1.5-2-2-2-9-12-2-2-1-2-3120-A-E-A-0-3-1-6/7/8-F(ast)/N-5/5.5/6/6.5-16/128-D-16-7-D but i dont understand whats in bold... so i set it o auto-7. Oclock Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 nvm i take that back, i walk away for a few minutes and i get a gazillion errors. so i tried the other timing and same thing. this is at 220 fsb and 3.3v. note i only got errors in test 5. I also noticed there are some extra things you have listed that are not in my bios, am i using the wrong one? its the 10/15 jsj w/ 4v dimm. *update* Ok idk what the hell i just did but i got it to work at 3.3v 220 fsb. I used the settings Andy had suggested and so far it seems to be working(knock on wood). il update my next progress later but i am still wondering whether or not i have chosen the right bios cuz this one doesnt have bank interleave on it. Current settings 200-e-2-2-6-2-7-14-2-3-2-2-*0648*main difference-a-a-0-level2-7-a-256-d-16-07-d
