Need help! - where to go from here re: overclocking new box?

Hi, I'm relatively new to overclocking and I've read and read on this forum and others and after a bunch of tweaking here's my current box more or less:

Lanparty NF4 SLI DR 623-3 (i think - the one on the official site)

X2 4400+ @ 1.375v 220x11 = 2420 mhz

2gb OCZ PC3200 Plat (2x1 gb) @ 2.7v 2.5 3 3 5

Memory is at 1:1 (I think, heh) and the other voltages are still at their defaults. I've tried 230 mhz with a bunch of changes (voltages, memory timings, etc.) but nothing is working great. I need/want 100% stability. So, I'm curious, what else should I do to eek more performance out of this thing? I know it's a long patient process, I'm just looking for some direction. Am I using a poor BIOS choice for the RAM? I've looked at how -1 -2 -3 are optimized for different kinds of RAM, but I don't really understand which I want for mine. Should I look into memory dividers other than 1:1? Should I be happy with what I'm running now?

Under full load (right now, it's running two instances of prime as per the instructions in the sticky), my temps are reported (in Everest Home) as mobo 60 C chip 50 C NB 57 C, is this normal/good? Why is the mobo temp higher than the chip, is it being incorrectly reported? Using an XP-120 and a relatively slow/quiet fan.

Also, do I need to have a floppy drive to flash the BIOS or is there some way to do it from Windows? I didn't want to leave a floppy in the machine long term, but if there's no other easy way I will.

Thanks very much
