Toronto1 Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 When I boot my PC, it shows the little "Remove Hardware" symbol. When I click on it, it tells me that the removable device is my "C" drive. That's definitely not removable. Any ideas of how to make it stop doing this? I've checked all the boot device priorities in the BIOS, and they're all correct. ToneC Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 That's not normal for SATA drives, Using one myself with no "remove hardware" symbol. Sounds like an OS or driver problem.

Shard Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 It's normal for DFI boards apparently. Well not only DFI boards...some other manufacturers too, but not all...then again maybe it's purely an NF4 thing and not a mobo manufacturer thing... http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread...=removable+spec
