bolshevik Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 These boards are definitely quirky because sometimes this happens to me too. Are you getting BSODs? What works for me is to boot into safe mode first then reboot normally. I don't know why but it works for me.
fartonmyear Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 it doesn't boot into windows. it just freezes at a black screen before the progress bar. i've tried safe mode. doesn't work.

Guest Joalaielna Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 could be a loose power connection. Make sure everything is seated and secured tightly.
fartonmyear Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 hah yes. one of the power plugs was loose. but is that why my computer kept restarting? maybe. the world may never know. it was the one under the CPU to the left of the molex. Surrept Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 the nf2 boards don't like anything to change much at a time, even when turning settings down.
