Bios Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello all, I'm trying to figure out if which bios I should use and if I'm even on the right page... lol, where is the 5/10 bios? And which ones should I use, because I do have a venice processor... heres the page I was looking at:

http://www.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bio..._FLAG=A&SITE=US

My Mobo: DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD

My Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Venice Integrated into Chip FSB Socket 939

RAM: OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400

Thanks in advanced,

okay got it... now to burn it onto a cdrom (since i dont have a floppy) do I just burn the 510-2FIX.bin file? I also see a AWDFLASH.exe - anything I need to do with that?

What's the easiest way I can flash it with a CDROM?

Thanks,

Nevermind, I see the CDROM links, but which one do I use?

Bootable CDROM (ISO) DOS Image w./ All Bios Revisions to Date (6/18/05):

http://indabasement.com/DFINF4/bios/DFI_BIOSROM.rar

For users recieving 'Disk Not Ready' when trying to flash with the above ISO:

310+510-1/-2/-3:

http://indabasement.com/DFINF4/bios/310_510-mini.rar

310+618-1/-2/-3:

http://indabasement.com/DFINF4/bios/310_618-mini.rar

If I want the 510-2? I see it in the link for having Disc Not Ready error, but which should I usE?

Thanks,

d3aTh.w|Sh!
