MadChicago Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 Which is better? Is the platinum worth buying? Thanks, d3aTh.w|Sh! I just picked up my OCZ Platinum EL dimms and I couldn't be more happy with the way that they perform in my setup. I have not tried the Gold dimms, however, but they come highly recommended by many, included AG I think. I have tried Corsair XMS and Mushkin Level II, and they do NOT compare to the overall stability that these Platinums have given thus far. In addition, I really enjoy being able to have 2Gb of mem and still run tight timings! ~MC

terror_adagio Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 I went with Platinum EL, as I wanted 2x1gb. Gold doesn't offer that.
