Exar_333 Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 I cannot run a Poll, but this is the closest thing I can do: please respond only if you have used or currectly use UTT-based memory (1) you are still using UTT memory @ 3.2V or LOWER (2) you are still using UTT memory @3.3V or HIGHER (3) you used UTT before, and then changed to a different type due to problems (4) you used UTT before, and then changed for unrelated reason ALSO, please note if you had any cold-boot issues related **I experienced cold-boot and have had to recently change RAM types (damaged the 4000vx modules, but MB is fine), and am curious as to how many other people may or may not have had the same issue**

timpanogos Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 #2 I had some problems with what I think is actually a 5vsb overamp using j17 in the 5 volt position, but I moved to an sio mod, and ocz booster, no problems since. Running totally stable at 246*11 @ 1.5-2-2-5 Runs most peoples stable at 240*12 @1.5-2-2-

Guest burningrave101 Posted July 9, 2005 Posted July 9, 2005 #4 I had some G.Skill UTT-BH installed but decided to move to 2x1024MB and lower voltage stuff because i couldn't get that high of overclock with only 3.2V and i didn't want to move to the 5V jumper OR overclock my 3.3V rail. Exar_333 Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 interesting, seems like a real mixed bag in terms of results!
exscape Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 1 / 2 Been using 3.3v stable for quite a while, but I'm down at 200MHz 2.6v for a while now. Never had any trouble, although since I rarely turn my machine off I guess that is to be expected regarding the cold boot trouble.
