Hey man,

You should PM Angry_Games....he swears by both the RAM and power supplies you have chosen, and has good experience getting your memory to perform well. He'll have lots of suggestions for ya, and will give you the best answers you could hope for.

You should also specify for him at what speeds you want them to run at....and I'm almost 100% positive he will tell you to flash to the 510-2 BIOS, if you want to prepare :D

Cheers and Good Luck

try these to start with. flash to 704-2 (link in my sig for botable iso(s)):

cl1.5:

A/SPD(bios 702)-A-1.5-2-2-2-9-12-2-2-1-2-3120-A-E-A-0-3/1-1/A-7/8/A-F-5/5.5/A-16-D-16-7-D

LDT: 3x >248, 4x <248 @ start at stock V

Chip: Start at stock V

PCI-E Payload: 128 if using manual LDT, 4096 if using Auto LDT

Multi: 9x/8x/7x (to test for max HTT, then raise multi afterwards to max allowed by your cooling, etc., and adjust HTT as needed)

Vdimm: start at 2.8v

rotate sticks to lessen errors. switch slots if within OS stress u are bottlenecked.

good luck.

Hello,

Zac did you Flash to BIOS 510-2/510-2FIX?

You must do that as the older BIOSes do not fully support your CPU core.

Get bios here.

http://indabasement.com/DFINF4/bios/510-2FIX.zip

HOW TO FLASH THE BIOS

Download this run it to make a RAMDRIVE boot disk.

http://www.nerdlabs.org/bootdisks/diskimages/wboot98se.exe

Then get a 2nd disk

- Copy everything in the BIOS zip to it (Extract the files)

- eg, copy awdflash.exe and 510-2FIX.bin to it

- Boot from the RAMDRIVE DISK

- Start computer without cdrom support.

- Once it has loaded insert the 2nd disk.

Type

copy a:*.* c:

Press enter

Type

c:

Press enter

Type

awdflash 510-2FIX.bin /f /sn

Press enter

It should flash the BIOS.

- Then you must turn the PC off

- Clear the CMOS using the JBAT jumper, leave it there for 10mins.

- Then put it back and when you power the PC enter the BIOS.

- Load optimised defaults, save and exit.

- Enter the BIOS and go to CMOS reloaded.

- For each profile, save the current settings.

- Then save and exit.

- Now you can enter the BIOS and change the settings.

- set memory voltage to 2.8v

======================

If not then flash to it.

Some timings for you to try.

GENIE section in the bios,

DRAM voltage = set to 2.8v

GENIE section in the BIOS >DRAM configuration
