Screen Resolutions and Refresh Rates

Got 2 questions for you all:

1. What do you all run your desktop resolutions at?

I run mine at 2048 x 1536 @ 75Hz on the 22" and 1366 x 768 @ 75Hz on the 50" Plasma.

2. What resolutions do you all run your games at?

1600 x 1200 @ 100 Hz on the 22"

1280x1024 @ 85Hz, 19" Proview flat CRT (crappy)

games = 1280x960 @ 85Hz, 32-bit color, all details on high, 4xAA

(i'd do 1280x1024 but the 6600GT SLI stuff don't seem to like that resolution in games....no big deal either way)

I think you just want to show off your big screens.

I use 1600x1200 75hz desktop, and 1280x1024 85hz in newergames. and 1600x1200 in older games. 4x AA when i can :)

Currently pending a Dell 2001FP, am running dual 800x600@85Hz crt monitors. :(

Once I get my new lcd, I'll be running everything at 1600x1200.

I've got a friend with a couple of 22" NEC beasts, even with them, I find it tedious to use them for long periods of time at 2048x1536. 1600x1200@ 109Hz is where it's at for them. :)

1600x1200 85Hz at 32-bit for everything I can. I have a few games that won't play windowed mode except at 16-bit. As my eyes weaken from looking at Veranda 8 at 1600x1200, I'm lusting after full wall monitor surfaces, preferably ones I can view from bed.

Nah, it is just to find out who runs what resolution for the different types of applications - programs or games. Nothing more, nothing less.

1280x1024 @ 75Hz. I kinda miss my old Philips and Viewsonic monitors that did 1600x1200 @ 75Hz but those damn things got borked (the same way too).

Also, that brings up a question. Where's a good place to buy monitors online? I don't think I'll be buying one anytime soon but I am just curious.
