se7en.hu Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 Hey guys how do I flash my BIOS to the latest version for my board? I have a DFI LanParty UT SLi-D... What Software do I use to flash and What Version BIOS? Thanks
Worm Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 First of all download the EXE file version from DFI's site @ DFI.com. To create the BIOS image, insert a blank floppy in the drive and then run the NF4LDxxx.EXE (where "xxx" represents the version). It copies command.com to the BIOS image which you need to make the diskette bootable. From there, leave the floppy in the drive and reboot. The flashing process is entirely automatic and requires no user intervention on your part. Also, leave the name of the file as NF4LDxxx.BIN in the grey field that you'll see when the BIOS upgrade commences. After the flash process terminates, go into the setup and load "Optimized Defaults" (there's no need to clear CMOS).
