se7en.hu Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Hey guys I have the DFI LanParty UT SLi-D and a AMD A64 3000+ Venice Core at the moment running at 2.8GHz @ 1.67Vcore (BIOS) and 1.636 (CPU-z) Now I want to get 2.9 or 3.0 GHz do you guys think I could safely push the 3000+ to - CPU VID - 1.500 CPU VID Special - Above VID * 113% = 1.695Vcore? Would it work? Thanks...
pershoot Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 for air/water, not safe for the longhaul in my opinion. keep it by ~1.65 or so max (temps permitting).
