Gaara v2.0

error and nTune

Recommended Posts

i get the following error message after running hl2 for little while, ( <10 min ) ( error comes after auto reboot )

i have no clue whats causing it, as it never used to happen to me before. im not sure how hot a video card has to be before it makes ur computer reboot, and i dont even know if the video card is the problem. this other pic is from nTune, and i dont know what the red box for core is like that for, looks like undervoltage or something tome, does anybody know what it means? and that redline going across the mhz graph in the middle, is that danger zone? if nobody knows the cause of this, can u please guide me to somebody who can? thx bunches

okay first off, uninstall ntune, and swear to god you will never, ever, for ever and ever, once and for all, use it :shake: :shake:

As far as the voltage, it seems fine to me

Have you recieved that error only once? try HL2 again and see if it comes up.........

If it does, try default settings if you have overclocked.

I have also heard people saying the 618 BIOS helped them set stable in HL2 when they were not before.

Next time you're jogging down a street, have someone else change your shoes for you. An ankle will be twisted, and one of you will end up on the ground.

Best bet is to stop running, sit down, and do it yourself.

nTune is going through the Windows cloud and deciding, based on an extra layer of software readings, how hard you can push your hardware. I don't let Windows programs play my most shameful DVDs, so there's no way I'm going to let one force values into my gear. ;)
